Community Wealth Partners

Community Wealth Partners is a social impact consulting firm on a mission to co-create a world where all people thrive. We were created by the nonprofit Share Our Strength to partner with social sector organizations to figure out what works and share what we learn with others. We partner with nonprofits and foundations to create strategies, implement them, evaluate them and learn what works in pursuit of their missions. We work by their side with a spirit of intense partnership to co-create solutions. But we don’t stop there: we’re relentlessly learning from our partners what it takes to make lasting change and creating resources so others can use those insights. After partnering with more than 500 organizations over more than two decades, we know the work of social change isn’t easy, but we’re seeing partners make meaningful progress in tackling some of today’s most daunting challenges.

Empact

Founded in 2011, Empact is a leading social enterprise with a mission to build the capacity of social organisations (referred to as non-profit organisations and social enterprises) in Singapore and the region. Our aim for our capacity building efforts is to empower these social organisations for greater impact.

Through our cross-sector collaboration with sector developers, grantmakers, corporates and volunteers, we bridge the capacity gap of the social sector by channelling talents, skills and resources to co-create innovative solutions to address the various needs of social organisations.

To date, Empact has impacted and empowered more than 1,000 social organisations in the region, with a contribution of savings amounting up to $7 million worth of professional services that have been rendered pro bono for the social sector.

In 2019, Empact was selected as a finalist for the President’s Challenge This is the highest accolade for social enterprises in Singapore by the President of Singapore.

Energize

HandsOn Hong Kong

As part of our mission to empower everyone in Hong Kong to volunteer, HandsOn Hong Kong develops service programs in partnership with 100+ local, under-served nonprofit organizations and connects them with the volunteer manpower they need to achieve their own mission. Our charity partners focus on causes such as empowering people with disabilities, educating children, assisting the elderly, feeding the poor, helping the homeless, supporting animal welfare, environmental conservation and more.

Most recently, our programs have focused entirely on bringing emergency relief and support to Hong Kong's most vulnerable communities. To date, the HandsOn team has run over 700 COVID-19 relief programs on our public service calendar, enabled over 1,000 supportive volunteer phone calls to vulnerable elderly, directed tens of thousands of food and hygiene items to local charities and their service users, and we are working towards delivering more than 3,000 relief packages to low-income households.

Heart of America

Heart of America provides high-quality resources and transforms spaces in under-resourced schools into modern learning environments so that students and communities can learn and grow. In response to COVID-19 school closures, we increased our in-home focus and scaled resource distribution efforts to provide technology including devices and hotspots, as well as Education Resource Packs which include grade appropriate books, art/school supplies and STEM activities. Since 1997 we have served more than two million students in need by distributing more than 4 million books and by infusing $2 million in technology. We have recently surpassed 500 transformations of school and community libraries, cafeterias, gymnasiums, college and career centers, tech labs and many more educational spaces across North America.
